Another plastic surgery victim David Gest (born 1953) is an American television producer and concert promoter who is now perhaps best known for his brief marriage to Liza Minnelli and plastic fantastic. His marriage with Minnelli began on March 16, 2002 and terminated less than a year and a half later in July 2003. In October 2003, he sued her for $10 million, claiming that she had been violent and physically abusive during their marriage, behavior the affidavit blamed on Minnelli’s persistent alcoholism.
Gest, who grew up in Southern California and counted Michael Jackson and his brothers as childhood friends, which later has become reason for jokes when Gest’s face suddenly turned into a scary mask as a result of numerous facelifts.
She’s been called the “Cat Woman” and the “Bride of Wildenstein,” and her real name is Jocelyne Wildenstein, the woman who has spent thousands of dollars in plastic surgery transforming her face to resemble a cat’s.Originally from France, Wildenstein, now 59, moved to Manhattan in the late ’70s with her then-husband, art-collector and billionaire Alec Wildenstein. They have two grown children together.
But she was granted a divorce in 1999 after she allegedly found Alec in a compromising position with a 19-year-old model.
She cried “sexual abandonment” and won a hefty settlement. But the tabloids were cruel, and branded her with a variety of catty monikers.
It’s not certain how many plastic surgeries Wildenstein, who has a 66,000-acre ranch in Kenya and favors cheetahs and lynxes, has endured to create her jutting cheekbones, teardrop-shaped eyes and oversized lips.
